Architecture department-Hawraman scientific trip
On 19th of November, The Sports Unit at Cihan University Sulaymaniyah headed by Faraidun Aziz Ahmed organised and facilitated a friendly football match. The Computer Science and Department of General Education played a friendly football match which ended with Department of Computer Science winning over the Department of General Education (9 – 1). Wishing all the best for all our players and looking forward for the next match.
This sporting event comes as part of the Sports Unit’s efforts to encourage and promote sport as a way of improving student well-being, health and social life whilst at University. And, more importantly, sports activities play an important role in various groups and communities. Although sports activities have many health benefits including improving the well-being of individuals, but, they also contribute to the empowerment of individuals, and helping the development of inclusive communities.
