The Department of Architectural Engineering is one of the most important Scientific departments at Cihan University – Sulaimaniya. It was established in 2014 with theoretical and practical educational programs in Architectural design, urban, interior, and landscape design. The study Program at the Department is five years. Graduates are awarded a degree of Bachelor in architectural engineering.
The department continues to constantly innovate itself regarding the quality of education, and faculty members. The department offers in addition a qualified academic staff, design studios, ateliers, and modern classrooms that intellectually stimulate learning and researching.
Our vision is to enhance an identity for graduates in order to form a base of innovators and specialists in the domain of Architectural Engineering. In addition, graduates obtain a solid foundation to continue their postgraduate study of master degrees in the different approaches of Architectural Engineering.
