Medical laboratory Analysis (MLA) is an important part of health – care system. It is playing a crucial role in the diagnosis, treatment, and monitoring of diseases. This department was established in 2019-2020. It is a four-year program covering the major areas of clinical laboratory analysis: (hematology, microbiology, biochemistry, histopathology, virology and immunology). At the end the program prepares specialists who are competent in performing and interpreting a wide variety of laboratory tests used in hospitals, clinics, and research laboratories.

The department strategies are to graduate medical laboratory technologists with basic and advanced diagnostic techniques that are provide clinical information to physicians, pathologists, researchers, and other healthcare services.
