English Department Hosts 3rd Student Exhibition (Grammatically Correct: A Poster Presentation Event)
On March 14, 2022, Cihan University of Sulaymaniyah organized a workshop in partnership with the University of Sulaymaniyah. A group of university professors, human rights activists and judges participated in the workshop. The workshop dealt with THE ROLE OF UNIVERSITIES IN REJECTING EXTREMISM. The event was covered by the official Al-Iraqiya TV channel, and the session was administrated by Dr. Naji Al-Fatlawi. Further, the workshop witnessed active participation by university students. The importance of the workshop reflected in the necessity of consolidating the basic principles of human rights and the role of the university in changing negative impact that extremism ideologies have on society, especially among the youth group of university students.
