On 22, 05, 2017, under the supervision of the president of Cihan University- Sulaimani, Assist. Professor Dr. Wahid Omer Muhiaddin, the third festival of Cihan University Day- Sulaimani was organized.
The festival was attended by the head of the board of trustees of Cihan universities, Dr. NawzadYahyaBajgr as well as all students, staff and faculty members.
The festival started by observing one minutes’ silence in tribute to the souls of our martyrs and was followed by a speech given by Dr. NawzadYahyaBajgr, the head of the board of trustees of Cihan universities.
Then, the president of Cihan University-Sulaimani delivered his speech extending his appreciation to all who assisted in organizing the festival which aims at promoting the students’ skills and capacities.
Afterwards, the students and the guests accompanied by the University President visited the departments where students’ activities had been performed. It is worth mentioning that the revenues of the art works displayed for sale by the participating students all went to fund raising campaign of Hiwa Hospital for Cancer treatment.
The festival ended with a dramatic performance by the students.
