English Department Hosts 3rd Student Exhibition (Grammatically Correct: A Poster Presentation Event)
On 29th of Nov 2022, The Sports Unit at Cihan University Sulaymaniyah headed by Faraidun Aziz Ahmed organised and facilitated a friendly football match. Department of Computer Science and Department Medical Laboratory Analysis played a friendly football match which ended with Department of Computer Science winning over the Medical Laboratory Analysis (5– 2). Wishing all the best for all our players and looking forward for the next match.
This sporting event comes as part of the Sports Unit’s efforts to encourage and promote sport as a way of improving student well-being, health and social life whilst at University. And, more importantly, sports activities play an important role in various groups and communities. Although sports activities have many health benefits including improving the well-being of individuals, but, they also contribute to the empowerment of individuals, and helping the development of inclusive communities.
