English Department Hosts 3rd Student Exhibition (Grammatically Correct: A Poster Presentation Event)
On 12th Dec 2022, the Department of Medical Microbiology second-stage students at Cihan University Sulaimaniya conducted a field visit to the DUKAN-2 Water Treatment Plant in Dukan district, organized under the supervision of Assist. lecturer. Alan Omer and Assist. lecturer. Eqbal Sobhani, lecturers of Medical Microbiology.
On this trip, students were introduced to the whole process of treatment and purification of Dukan lake water which includes coagulation, sedimentation, filtration, and disinfecting water by chlorination. Further, the students became acquainted with methods and techniques usually performed on a daily basis at that facility in order to prepare clean water to feed the municipal water distribution system in Sulaimani City.
