English Department Hosts 3rd Student Exhibition (Grammatically Correct: A Poster Presentation Event)
On 29th July, 2023, Professor Dr. Omid Rafiq Fatah from Cihan University had the honor of opening the ceremony. In his speech, he emphasized the paramount importance of such specialized training both for legal practice and theoretical awareness. He acknowledged the significant role played by Judge Kamaran Rasul and the Personal Status Court of Sulaimaniya in supporting the program and promoting legal expertise in the region. Judge Kamaran Rasul – Esteemed Judge of the Personal Status Court of Sulaimaniya Asst Prof. Dr Nuri Hama Saeed Ali – Head of Science Zakat Institution were amongst the main participant and organisers of the event.
The training course on Common Lawsuits before Personal Status Courts, organized by the Science Zakat Institution in collaboration with Judge Kamaran Rasul, was a comprehensive program aimed at equipping 120 lawyers and department of laws students with essential knowledge and practical skills.
The event featured speeches by some of the participants, sharing their experiences and reflections on the training course. It may have also included a demonstration of the practical skills acquired during the program through mock trials or other interactive sessions.
The ceremony concluded with a formal recognition of the participants’ achievements, awarding certificates of completion, and expressing gratitude to all those involved in organizing and supporting the training course.
