Quality Assurance is one of the main directorates, the task of this directorates is to oversee the proper implementation of the academic standards of the university and its departments. The quality Assurance directorate also supervises the accepted codes of academic staff behavior in compliance with applicable rules and laws.

As a higher education institution of the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG), we work in line with the guidance and strategies of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. Quality Assurance at Cihan University – Sulaimaniya endeavors to implement the process in order to safeguard the high level of academic education for the community.
