Student Activity: Toward a More Sustainable Campus through Innovative Design and Practical Application
On the 21st of February 2022, a national workshop was held between Cihan University Sulaimaniya and the University of Sulaimaniyah
titled “Workshop on International Mother Language day”, the occasion of International Mother language day. It is a worldwide annual observance held on the 21st of February to promote awareness of Linguistics diversity and cultural diversity and to promote multilingualism. This day is considered a day which different cultures show to prevent their native languages. In the workshop various topics were discussed such as the importance of native language, the threats on native language and some theoretical perspectives into Kurdish language.
