4th Graduation Ceremony (Session of Stability) 2018
On November 22, 2018, Cihan University-Sulaimani held the 4th graduation ceremony (session of Stability) under the patronage of the minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research his Excellency (Dr. Yousif Goran).
The ceremony initiated with the national anthem and a moment of silence for the victims and martyrs of Kurdistan. Dr. Zana Jalal Saed recited the speech of the graduation ceremony preparation committee. Then the president of Cihan University-Sulaimani Dr. Wahed Omer Muhedin delivered a speech and explained the importance of the youth in rebuilding Kurdistan. He also focused on the rapid development of Cihan University. Dr. Mohammed Hussain, the representative of Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research attended the ceremony and delivered a speech. He focused on the activities of the ministry and the importance of developing the scientific aspect of the universities in Kurdistan .
President of Cihan university board of trustees, Dr. Nawzad Yahya Bajgr, also addressed the graduates and encouraged them to use their certificates in reconstruction of Kurdistan. In his address he said that the fresh graduates are the brand ambassadors of the university and urged them to know the technological world in real time
Cihan University- Sulaimani Vice-president administered the institutional oath to the graduates and they were awarded honorary degree.
