2nd Seminar: NUR-KRG criteria for 2021 Ranking
The second speaker was Dr.Lway Faisal, the head of ranking committee at Cihan University –Sulaimaniya. He demonstrated the mechanism of considering and calculating the marks in NUR system. The National University Ranking (NUR) of KRG-Iraq, was founded in 2015. NUR provides the definitive list of the KRG best universities. The data are trusted by the government and universities. The seminar aimed to evaluate between the departments performance and to measure how the University vision meets the MHE vision at KRG. The following three majors are evaluated and highlighted: University Evaluation- Academic Evaluation- Various levels of Research Evaluation.
