Joint Symposium between Cihan University – Sulaymaniyah jointly with Al-Rafidain University College
On March 18, and 19, 2023, Cihan University – Sulaymaniyah jointly with Al-Rafidain University College organized a scientific symposium on ‘The development of scientific research in repositories for abstract and citation databases’.
This symposium comes within the framework of scientific cooperation between both universities. The symposium contained a number of discussions and seminars. Associate professor, Dr. Nameer Hashim Qasim from the Department of Computer Science presented at the symposium. The symposium discussed the main foundations for publishing, selecting international journals, and increasing the level of citation for research.
The seminar covered the following topics; The correct way to post, increasing citations for the college and the researcher, Developing the profile of the researcher, The main repositories of publication, and research evaluation methods.
