On Feb 14, 2023, the Department of Architectural Engineering under the supervision of Mr Sarko Hassan & Mr. Barham Abdul Rahim organized a scientific visit for fifth-stage students to the Kurdistan Union of Engineers. The main aim of the visit was، to familiarize the students with the union that they will become members of in the future.
The staff of the Kurdistan Union of Engineers explained to the students the history of the union, which was founded on 07/24/1992, as a democratic association. The staff also presented the efforts of the union in defending the rights of engineers and guarding their interests, as well as the rights and obligations of engineers and the conditions for membership in the union.
The staff of the union, made room for the students to express their opinions and present their questions.
Finally, a tour was organized for the students in order to get acquainted with the different branches of the union.
