On 15th of Jan 2022, the Department of Architectural Engineering at Cihan University – Sulaymaniyah organized a scientific trip to the Rotana Hotel and Sarchinar Cement Factory for fourth-stage students. A number of lecturers arranged the visit: Assist Lecturer Sarko Hassan, Assist. Lecturer. Shagul Shafiq and Research Assist. Shahram Dlshad at the Department of Architectural Engineering.
Rotana Hotel is a commercial establishment offering lodging to travelers to and sometimes to permanent residents, often having restaurants, meeting rooms, stores, etc., available to the general public.
On this scientific trip, students were introduced to designing Hotel functions, departments, services, and accommodations for visitors.
