On 20th Feb 2023, the Department of Architectural Engineering at Cihan University Sulaymaniyah organized a scientific trip to the Kurdistan Union of Engineers and Mayorca City for third-stage students. The visit was arranged under the supervision of Research Assist. Shahram Dlshad, and Assist. Lecturer Barham Abd Al-Rahim for working drawing at the Department of Architectural Engineering.
The visit to The Kurdistan Union of Engineers aimed to familiarize the students with the union they will become members of in the future.
And the visit to the Mayorca City project aimed to incorporate the theoretical part of the lecture into the practical implementation in the site preparation process and help students get acquainted with the practical fields of architecture and building construction.
The practical knowledge gained from the visit constitutes and leads to a deeper understanding and comprehension of the concepts learned.
The observation and familiarization of students with the practical stages of implementation of buildings lead to acquiring more knowledge in building construction phases and construction elements, as well as obstacles encountered.
