The Directorate of Health and Safety at Cihan University – Sulaimaniya takes measures to prevent or minimize the consequences of released hazardous materials and processes that require special training; and, control measures to protect students, staff and our environment from harm. The safety, health and environmental objectives of the University and the Management Program forms the basis for fulfilling our mission in providing a safe and environmentally responsible atmosphere.

At the Medical Center a healthcare professional often a paramedic responds and provides emergency help stabilizing students/staff with life-threatening injuries or conditions and transferring them to a higher level of treatment typically an emergency department.
