On 13th Mar 2023, the Department of Architectural Engineering at Cihan University Sulaymaniyah organized a scientific trip for the fifth-stage students to visit Erbil Citadel, Cihan university – Erbil, and Erbil International Book Fair. The visit was arranged under the supervision of Assist. Lecturer Sarko Hassan, Assist. Lecturer Diyari Burhan, and Research Assist. Shahram Dlshad lecturers at the Department of Architectural Engineering.
The purpose of the visit was to introduce students to the local architecture and the building materials used, as well as analyze several aspects and parts of the citadel’s design.
The visit to the Erbil International Book Fairs has been arranged as an opportunity to view the latest publications in the field of Architecture, and for students to buy scientific references to help them in their graduation projects.
