The Power and Precision of Journalistic Translation
On 9 NOV, 2022, The Department of Law at Cihan University Slemani organized a seminar for Dr. Afram Mohammed Hassan, a Psychiatrist, under the title ‘Mental Illness and Legal Responsibility’ participated by university lecturers and law students.
The presenters of the workshop focused on mental illnesses and the consequences, legal responsibilities that these behaviors can cause. The First Speaker, Dr. Afram Mohammed Hassan presented in a scientific and practical manner; the role of medical committees in determining the type of mental disorders that people suffer from. And, the Second Speaker, Assist. Prof. Dr. Nury Hama Saeed Haeder, lecturer of Law analyzed the concept of mental illness from a legal perspective. Further, the lecturers and students contributed by asking questions and expressing their views.
Then, at the end of the workshop Dr. Afram Mohammad, a Psychologist was recognized and awarded for his efforts and valuable contribution to this field of science, and the benefits and legal knowledge that students will acquire.
