Student Activity: Toward a More Sustainable Campus through Innovative Design and Practical Application
On September 4th, 2024, we conducted an in-depth seminar focusing on the evolution and significance of operating systems in the field of computing. The session began with a historical overview, tracing the development of operating systems from their inception to the advanced, sophisticated platforms of today. We then examined the fundamental elements and components that constitute an operating system, providing a comprehensive understanding of their architecture and functions. Additionally, the seminar addressed the current trends influencing the development of operating systems and the ongoing challenges that researchers and developers face in ensuring security, efficiency, and scalability.
