Student Activity: Toward a More Sustainable Campus through Innovative Design and Practical Application
On 20th November 2022, The Architectural Department at the Cihan University Sulaimaniya organized a scientific trip to a project named “Private Bashwr Hospital” in Sulaimani. The trip was orgnised by Mr. Diyari Burhan Hussein under the supervision of the Head of the Architectural Department Mrs. Tara Azad Raoof.
The trip aimed at introducing the students of the Fourth Stage to the design of Concrete Structures.Furthermore, the students observed the construction stages and supervision of the project stages from the beginning to the end. In fact, during the visit students were able to see the different structural elements of the project and checking the reinforcement details of each elements of the hospital such as, basement, shear walls, columns, beams, and slabs.
