Architectural Engineering Students Visit Shar Hospital for General Hospital Design Project
On 17th September 2024, a pivotal workshop titled “The New Publishing Way for International Repositories” conducted via Zoom. This event is jointly organized by Prof. Dr. Yuri Khlaponin from Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nameer Qasim from Cihan University of Sulaimaniya, under the auspices of the Accounting Department.
The workshop is designed to provide academics and researchers with critical knowledge and skills to navigate the increasingly complex landscape of international academic publishing. In particular, it focused on optimizing research visibility through international repositories and leveraging open-access platforms to enhance scholarly impact. Key topics include article processing charges (APC) strategies, open access journal selection, and the evolving legal and ethical considerations of publishing in a global context.
Given the importance of international exposure in today’s academic environment, the workshop aims to equip researchers with the tools to improve citation rates and overall research dissemination. Participants gained valuable insights into how proper repository selection can significantly affect academic recognition and career development, ensuring that they remain at the forefront of scholarly trends.
