Student Activity: Toward a More Sustainable Campus through Innovative Design and Practical Application
On August 29th, 2023, a delegation from the Sulaimaniya Centre District Governor’s office visited the Presidency of Cihan University – Sulaimaniya. The purpose of this visit was to strengthen coordination and promote ongoing collaboration between the two institutions. The delegation was led by His Excellency Governor Awat Muhamad.
During the visit, Governor Awat Muhamad conveyed his gratitude to the leadership of Cihan University – Sulaimaniya and underscored the significance of improved coordination between the university and the governor’s office. He particularly emphasized the university’s pivotal role in providing courses designed to enhance the skills and capabilities of employees.
The President of Cihan University – Sulaimaniya headed by Professor. Dr. Omid Rafiq Fatah, and Professor. Dr. Bamo Parwez Aziz, Vice president of Cihan University-Sulaimaniya expressed their keenness to establish a close and effective collaboration with the Sulaimaniya District Governor’s Office, with a specific focus on enhancing the competencies and expertise of employees through regular courses. Furthermore, discussions during the visit encompassed the progress of joint projects and ongoing tasks.
Throughout the visit, both parties reiterated the importance of deepening their cooperation and anticipated positive outcomes from their combined endeavours.
In recognition of the university’s contributions and efforts, which were highly regarded, Appreciation Shields were presented to the presidency office, lecturers, and staff.
This visit reflects a strong commitment to partnership and mutual growth, with the ultimate goal of advancing the skills of employees and fostering positive outcomes through collaborative initiatives.
