On Tuesday 24th of December 2024, Mr. Diyari Burhan a lecturer at the Department of Architectural Engineering at Cihan University Sulaimaniya organized an International Workshop in collaboration with Budapest University of Technology and Economics, and Foresight agency about ‘’ Studying in Hungary: How to Get a Scholarship, Chances and Benefits.”
The workshop focused on opportunities available for international students wishing to pursue higher education in Hungary especially at the high-ranked BME University, specifically through the prestigious Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship program. The presenters provided comprehensive insights into the application process, eligibility criteria, and tips on enhancing the chances of being selected for the scholarship.
Key topics discussed included the types of academic programs offered by the Hungarian Universities specifically BME University, living conditions in Hungary, and the cultural and educational experiences awaiting international students.
