Following the correct sequence of translation steps is crucial in performing translation tasks. Historically, there has been different opinions and methods for translation process. Initially, it was thought that the process consists of decoding and encoding steps. Later on, transcoding was added between the two previous steps. With the advancement of translation research, it was realized that what happens in the mind of the translator is much more complicated, that is why the looping model was deviced.
