On 10/3/2019,The accounting Department held a seminar by dr.Ali Jalal Husain and assist. Faizah Said Moradi entitled (the fluctuation of oil prices in the world their effects on Iraqi economy after 2003).
The oil sector occupies importance attention from several countries because of its source of energy also cover public expenditure and for their contributions to G.D.P.
This require from economists to follow up for this strategic commodity about production and prices.
Therefore we must to try to analyze the factors affecting on oil prices and their reflections on Iraqi economy.
