On Tuesday 18/2/2019 Department of English had a seminar entitled” The Use of Fruit Idiomatic Expressions in Communication” presented by Dr. Mukhalad Malik. The seminar focuses on the use of fruit idioms in communication as far as their non-literal meaning is concerned. Fruit idioms are one of the most important idioms that are used to convey various meanings with different cultural, traditional and social ideas. The seminar illustrated how they are used in spoken situations.
