A seminar entitled (Plato’s Allegory of the Cave) presented by Asst. Professor Dr. Rebwar Zainadin. The seminar held on Monday, January 14 at the department of English.
Allegory by Plato is a kind of story recalled by Plato in his ‘The Republic’ to distinguish between illusion and reality which will be essential for achieving justice. His purpose is to explain that philosophy is more important than literature.
