Student Activity: Toward a More Sustainable Campus through Innovative Design and Practical Application
In early December 2023, Professor Fakher Rahim, distinguished scientist and director of research center, Cihan University-Sulaimaniya, participated in Global Development Assistance activity focusing on Health, participated and presented at the Asfendiarov National Medical University of Kazakhstan and Global Health training program in Almaty. This training program was a collaborative effort organised by the Asfendiarov National Medical University of Kazakhstan. The primary objectives of this summit were to explore the contributions of local data and registeries to filling gaps of global health data and estimates, focusing on key areas such as Telemedicine, Tele-epidemiology, Environmental Health, medical Sciences, and public health. The overarching goals included raising awareness, building capacity, and fostering collaboration among decision-makers and practitioners in the global health—an initiative aligned with the support of Sustainable Development Goal 3, “Good Health and Well-Being.”
