National WORKSHOP ON “Scientific Skills for Marvelous Research”
ON SATURDAY, 27 NOVEMBER 2021 ,The Department of Computer Science of Cihan University Sulaimaniya (CUS) organized with the American University in Sulaimani (AUIS) a workshop on “Scientific Skills for Marvellous Research” on 27 November 2021 for researcher academic staff members. The workshop started with a welcome address by Assistant Professor Dr. Lway Faisal Abdulrazak, Director Ranking sector at the CUS, who gave a motivational speech on the importance of Outcome-Based Education (OBE) in higher education for the faculty members and enriching the teaching skills.
The distinguished Professor Dr. Yarub Al-Douri, delivered a wonderful presentation regarding developing researcher’s skills in successful submitting of a full manuscript until it be a published paper. At the end of the presentation of Professor Dr. Yarub Al-Douri, the expert members gave their valuable suggestions about scientific research in Kurdistan Region of Iraq, development, methods, and assessment tools. A total of forty faculty members participated in the workshop. In addition, the senior faculty members of the departments of CUS. The participants found the program fruitful and thanked the CUS quality assurance authority represented by Mr. Hemen Rasheed Agha for organizing this workshop. At the end of the program, the Cihan University Sulaimaniya Assistant Professor Dr.Omed Rafiq Fatah expressed his immense gratitude to all the respected expert members and faculty members for making the workshop a complete success.
