Scientific Trip: Visit to DUKAN-2 Water Treatment Plant
The architectural engineering department at Cihan University – Sulaymaniyah held a joint National Workshop with the architectural engineering department at Koya University on the first and second of March 2022, titled:
ISSUES IN CONTEMPORARY ARCHITECTURAL EDUCATION
This workshop was a scientific gathering that brought experts from two universities together to discuss a wide range of architectural education issues. In addition to discussing the difficulties associated with architectural learning, it aimed to answer questions about innovative pedagogy and new techniques used in architectural education that are beneficial to both teachers and students.
Cihan University– Sulaymaniyah’s Department of Architecture took part in two research papers, the first of which was titled:
Enhancing Creativity in Architecture, presented by Dr. Nahedh Al-Qemaqchi
The second was titled:
Semiotics Problems in Architecture, presented by Dr. Nahedh Al-Qemaqchi
On the second day of the workshop, there were round-table discussions in which the audience asserted their opinions on the papers and lectures presented by researchers, which influenced the research sessions.
