The University of Wollongong and Cihan University-Sulaymaniyah announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the two prestigious institutions. On the 4th of July 2023, representatives from both universities convened for a significant meeting, during which various topics were discussed, leading to an agreement on several collaborative projects. The attendees of this meeting included Assistant Lecturer Hemen Rasheed Agha, Director of Quality Assurance, and Lecturer of Public Law at the Department of Law, along with PhD Candidate Dzhwar Anwer Ahamad, Lecturer of Public Law at the Department of Law. In addition, Philip Ogunbona, Associate Dean (International) of the School of Computing and Information Technology, and Jiangtao Xi, a distinguished Senior Lecturer, full Professor, and the Head of the School of Electrical, Computer, and Telecommunications Engineering, were also present.
