On 27th February 2023, the Architectural Department at Cihan University – Suleimani Campus organized a scientific trip to Mayorka Residential Project for second-stage students, under the supervision of Assist Lect. Sarko Hassan, for the lecture Building Element program of study. The Building Elements component of this study explores the building’s structural components, as well as the building systems that provide the building’s basic warehouse and office, use with electrical, gas, water, and sewage services as opposed to such systems which are specific to the particular uses of Tenant.
The visit aimed at providing and incorporating the theoretical part of the lecture into the practical implementation of the building elements. Further, to familiarize the students more with the practical aspects of architecture and building construction.
The practical knowledge gained from the visit leads to a deeper comprehension and understanding of the theoretical lectures.
