Student Activity: Toward a More Sustainable Campus through Innovative Design and Practical Application
On June 29, 2022, a group of students from CHWAR CHRA CAPACITY BUILDING PROGRAM in CHAMCHAMAL visited Cihan University-Sulaimaniya. A reception event was organized by the University represented by Assist. Lecturer Hemen Rasheed Agha, Director of Quality Assurance and Sadiq Kareem Omer from the presidency office. The visit was arranged by the Program Director of the High School, Kawa Muhamad Fatah, under the supervision of the High School principle, Hedayat Raheem Ali. Several other teachers of the School also accompanied the event. The students were introduced to the scientific departments, laboratories and various centers of the university. This partnership between the above State-School and Cihan University –Slemani comes as a service offered to the community and these partnerships are formed to engage with various communities that the university serves. The primary purpose of these activities are to undertake collective research for knowledge generation and utilization for community development and empowerment.
