There are several things we can do to have a healthy group dynamic and these include. Building positive relationships with our colleagues. Being patient and allowing our coworkers to take their time. Having equal voice. Making a ground that everyone can share their ideas and knowledges. Avoiding competitiveness. being creative. Encouraging other ideas and approaches, holding space, respecting each other, forgiveness,” having each other’s back” and supporting each other are important for each group. Group dynamic are the interaction between group members and how your groups interact with other groups: are the behaviors of individuals in one group and the behaviors of one group of people with another group of people. First step is “Forming “in which members get to know each other and set rules. Second is “Storming” in which members come to resist control by group leaders and show hostility. Third is “Norming” in which members work together developing close relationships and feeling of cohesiveness. The last one is “Performing” in which group members work towards getting their jobs done. Johari window is a helpful tool in understanding ourselves and others as a group. The Open Self is information about you that both you and others know and allows us to create community together. The Blind Self is information about you that you don’t know but others know, we should ask for feedback, I personally like feedback and I welcome any feedback. I hope all the other colleagues do the same. Hidden Self is information about you that you know but others don’t know. I know self-disclosure is very important, but I should work on that more and more. I have some different talents, but none of my colleagues know about that. By introducing our different talents to each other, we can grow closer to each other as a group. Unknown Self: information about you that neither you nor others know. We should endeavor to discover more about ourselves and the others while we work as a group. Our beliefs influence what we observe and how we react. The ladder of inference starts from “observe” in which observable data and experiences can be collected. Next is “Select” in which I select data from what I observe. Another one is “Meaning” in which I add meanings. Next is “Assumption” in which I make assumption based on the meaning I added. Next one is “Conclusion” in which I draw conclusions. “Belief” I adopt beliefs about the world. The last one is “Action” in which I take action based on my belief. As the saying goes there is strength in numbers. We can accomplish more as a group than as individuals, there is a blessing in unity. We should love each other while we are working together and that group working makes every single one of us beneficial. We achieve more and we learn more from each other. When you do something together you have more concentration and you may keep the information in your long-term memory. However, if you do something alone you may not stay focused and anything can destruct you easily When we are working together, we master the challenges easily and we hear wonderful thoughts that we haven’t realized. We all have potential energies; once we are starting them, we help ourselves and the others
