On 26th of Feb 2023, The Sports Unit at Cihan University Sulaymaniyah headed by Faraidun Aziz Ahmed organized and facilitated a friendly football match.
Department of Law and University football team, played a friendly football match, the match ended with the two teams equal (2-2).
This sporting event comes as part of the Sports Unit’s efforts to encourage and promote sport as a way of improving student well-being, health and social life whilst at University. More importantly, sports activities play an important role in various groups and communities. Although sports activities have, many health benefits including improving the well-being of individuals, but they also contribute to the empowerment of individuals, and helping the development of inclusive communities.
