Student Activity: Toward a More Sustainable Campus through Innovative Design and Practical Application
On 28th of Nov 2022, The Sports Unit at Cihan University Sulaymaniyah headed by Faraidun Aziz Ahmed organised and facilitated a friendly football match. The Department of Architectural Engineering and Department of Business Administration played a friendly football match which ended with Department of Architectural Engineering winning over the Department of Business Administration (6 – 2). Wishing all the best for all our players and looking forward for the next match.
This sporting event comes as part of the Sports Unit’s efforts to encourage and promote sport as a way of improving student well-being, health and social life whilst at University. And, more importantly, sports activities play an important role in various groups and communities. Although sports activities have many health benefits including improving the well-being of individuals, but, they also contribute to the empowerment of individuals, and helping the development of inclusive communities.
