Finance and Banking Management Department is one of the important departments at Cihan University – Sulaimaniya. It was established in 2014. The period of time required for the study is four years, after which the graduates is awarded bachelor’s degree in Finance and Banking Management.

The department of Finance and Banking Management looks forward to become one of the leading departments locally and regionally in the areas of financial and banking work. Finance and Banking Management department seeks to provide excellent educational service to give the students the knowledge and skills relevant to the financial and banking work, and to meet the needs of the labor market to develop the society. This can be accomplished by providing an excellent learning environment, attracting a qualified teaching staff, and expand the relationship with the banking institutions in order to provide consultancy and different training programs.
