Executive Director of D-8 International University
Dr. Sattar Azizi , Executive Director of D-8 International University , Prof. Yaghoub Mohammadifar , President of Bu-Ali Sina University ; and Dr. Ebad Roohi, Director of the International Scientific Cooperation Office of slamic Azad University of Sanandaj visited Cihan University-Sulaimani on 11/10/2018. President of Cihan University and University council members received the delegation and discussed the ways of collaboration between both parties.
The executive director of D-8 International University initiated to sign a Memorandum of Understanding in order to render the collaboration into an official framework. The MoU will expand the ways of exchanging expertise and lead to extending more services to the students of both parties.
The D-8 International university executive director explained that The D-8 international university will be set up on Avicenna University campus as the founding university, with the aim of strengthening academic exchanges between the universities of member countries and other countries.
He also added that this university aims to strengthen cooperation between member states through inter-university and student exchanges, and for member states to have access to an acceptable international share of these exchanges. The idea is to perform activities that will be in line with the aims and missions of the D-8 Group.
