Stylistics ,as a branch of applied linguistics ,builds a bridge between language and literature .
In the seminar the speaker explains how linguistic features and devices can be used to denoted meaning of the literary texts specifically poetry .
The focus will be on the semantic and syntactic deviations made by the poets to denote meanings in their poems.
