In a successful collaboration between the English Department and Zakat Scientific Institution, an intensive English language proficiency course was orchestrated, catering to students from diverse departments within the university. The comprehensive course encompassed three distinct levels of proficiencies, including beginner, elementary, and lower intermediate, effectively addressing the varied skill levels of participants. This academic endeavor, consisting of 36 hours of rigorous teaching, commenced on the 15th of July and concluded on the 15th of August, focused on cultivating and fortifying students’ language capabilities.
Throughout the course’s duration, emphasis was deliberately placed on nurturing participants’ listening and speaking skills. This strategic focus aimed to provide students with pragmatic communication abilities, thus equipping them to confidently navigate real-world interactions conducted in the English language. The overarching goal of the course was to facilitate a noticeable enhancement in the students’ English proficiency.
Guided by a team of dedicated educators, namely Diyar Mohammad, Bahra Taher, Rezhin Latif, and Aras Amin, the course diligently worked towards empowering the students. The instructors’ collective commitment to fostering an environment conducive to language learning contributed significantly to the students’ achievements. Their combined efforts enabled students to make remarkable progress and acquire valuable language skills.
The driving force behind this initiative, Aras Amin, the course organizer, expressed their dedication towards empowering the students. During this event, students who completed the course were presented with well-deserved certificates as a testament to their commitment and accomplishments.
