Student Activity: Toward a More Sustainable Campus through Innovative Design and Practical Application
In a celebration of literature, on April 22, 2024 the students from the English department showcased their favorite English authors in an event called “English Authors Avenue.” Each student displayed posters highlighting the lives and popular works of their chosen authors, sparking discussions and inspiring a love for literature.
From Shakespeare to D.H. Lawrence and J. K. Rowling, the posters displayed a diverse range of authors, offering insights into their lives and contributions to English literature. Students delved into the biographies of their favorite authors, recited their poems sharing their passion with peers and discovering new literary voices along the way.
“English Authors Avenue” was more than just an exhibition of English department; it was a platform for students to explore, appreciate, and celebrate the rich tradition of English writing. As the event concluded, it left behind a legacy of inspiration and a renewed love for literature among students.
