Dr. Nameer Qasim, a renowned researcher from the Research Center at Cihan University-Sulaimaniyah, has achieved a remarkable milestone with the contribution of his groundbreaking study in The Lancet. The study, titled “Global burden and strength of evidence for 88 risk factors in 204 countries and 811 subnational locations, 1990–2021: a systematic analysis for the Global Burden of Disease Study 2021,” underscores the high impact factor of 168.9 and its Q1 Scopus ranking, solidifying its prominence in the scientific community.
The comprehensive analysis presented in the study evaluates the global burden of 88 risk factors across an extensive range of geographical locations, providing a detailed assessment of their impact over three decades.
