Scientific Trip: Visit to DUKAN-2 Water Treatment Plant
Concept in Architectural Design Workshop
The Department of Architectural Engineering at Cihan University -Sulaimani with the cooperation of the Department of Architectural Engineering at Tishk International University -Sulaimani held a workshop about concept in architectural design, this workshop lasts for two days within the following schedule:
- At Sunday 24/February 2019 there were two lectures, the first one is entitled (Architectural Concept Anatomy) presented by Ass. Prof. Dr. Nahedh Taha Al-Qemaqchi, and the second lecture entitled (The influence of computer aided programs on contemporary concept generation) presented by Ass. Lecturer Mr. Karzan Jalal.
- At Monday 25/February 2019 there were two lectures, the first one is entitled (The problems related to the concept’s translation in design studio) presented by Ass. Prof. Dr. Nahedh Taha Al-Qemaqchi, and the second one is a round table dialog with the head of Ass. Lecturer Mr. Mustafa Mukhlis, about Changing paradigm of the architectural concepts.
This ceremony was a very successful cooperative efforts between the two universities highlighted several issues about the subject which is very important for both staff and students in architecture with essential outcome that can guide the improvement of the profession.
