On September 11, 2024, the College of Health Sciences at Cihan University of Sulaimaniya organized a comprehensive free medical examination for 60 teachers enrolled in the pedagogy course. Under the supervision of Dr. Emad Jalel, laboratory assistants conducted a series of diagnostic tests aimed at assessing various health parameters.
The tests performed included:
1. Blood pressure measurement
2. Blood glucose levels
3. Lipid profile (including cholesterol and triglycerides)
4. Complete blood count (CBC)
5. Microscopic urine analysis
6. Liver function tests (GOT, GPT)
7. Blood typing
8. Body Mass Index (BMI)
This initiative provided a holistic assessment of each participant’s health, including the opportunity to discuss lifestyle factors and their impact on overall well-being. The examination was designed to promote preventive healthcare and raise awareness of common health risks.
