As a part of the English department’s role in serving the community, the staff members represented by head of the English Department and a number of lecturers visited Shewa Elementary School on 21/12/2021. This visit comes as a desires between both institutions to enter into a mutual cooperation in pursuit of and in order to improve the quality of education.
In this particular partnership the members and department staff; delivered and shared their experiences, knowledge with the young learners, so as to promote and change the learning educational levels. The staff members’ interactions with students had a direct bearing on and emphasis on students’ motivations, communication, and interests for learning.
The staff members covered various topics, including; the history of English language, the world of English, the English Grammar, and other related topics.
