Student Activity: Toward a More Sustainable Campus through Innovative Design and Practical Application
On March 6, 2023, Cihan University Slemani’s Cultural Center organized a painting exhibition. The exhibition contained 25 distinguished paintings of artist Mr. Dilshad Bahadeen. The exhibition was attended by the president of the university, the assistant presidents of the university, professors and a large group of students.
The Art Unit’s Gallery Exhibition comes as part of the universities efforts to encourage and promote Art and cultural awareness. Further, such activities are performed to take students’ creativity and divergent thinking skills to the next level and as a way of improving the well-being, health and social life of students whilst at University. And, more importantly, cultural and art activities play an important role in various groups and communities. Although cultural and art have many health benefits including improving the well-being of individuals, but, they also contribute to the empowerment of individuals, and helping the development of inclusive communities.
