Sulaimaniya, [30th October, 2024] – Tafan Kamal Kareem, an assistant lecturer from the English Department at Cihan University, participated in a significant event organized by the United Nations and the Civil Development Organization (CDO) focused on Women, Peace, and Security.
Held on Thursday at the Grand Millennium Hotel in Sulaimaniya at 9:30 a.m., the event brought together a distinguished group of female leaders from various fields. Attendees engaged in vital discussions regarding the challenges and achievements of women, emphasizing their impact on society and the ongoing efforts to advance the goals of the United Nations Security Council Resolution 1325.
