Cihan University Sulaimaniya’s Translation Department Conducts Training to Enhance Students’ Speaking Skills
On January 2, 2025, the Career Development Center (CDC) at Cihan University-Sulaimaniya launched a remarkable book donation campaign aimed at supporting local prisoners who are eager to expand their knowledge. The initiative, which focused on providing books to help prisoners learn new languages and computer skills, was organized under the supervision of Mr. Aziz Rauf, Assistant Lecturer at the Translation Department, and Ms. Saya Jamal, Head of the Business Department.
The campaign was further supported by the CDC supervisor, Ms. Tafan Kamal Kareem, ensuring its success. Students from various departments, including Translation, General Education, Business, Law, and Medical Laboratory Analysis, actively participated, contributing to this meaningful cause.
This campaign not only provided essential resources to individuals in need but also demonstrated the university’s commitment to social responsibility and lifelong learning. By turning pages and sharing knowledge, the students of Cihan University-Sulaimaniya are helping to make a positive impact in the lives of others!
