The Business Administration Department is one of the important departments at Cihan University/Sulaimaniya. It was established in 2012. It has the morning and evening studies. The period of time required for the study is four years, after which the graduate is awarded bachelors certificate in Business Administration.
The Business Administration Department looks forward to become one of the leading and outstanding departments at the local and regional levels in different areas.
The Business department seeks to prepare and graduate a specialized staff in the administrative areas in order to serve the society. To accomplish this, it is needed to develop the curriculums and update it, attract a qualified teaching staff and enable it to use modern technology, enhance the relationship between the department and the society in order to provide useful services in the various administrative areas keeping the following values in mind:
- Confidence
- Truthfulness and honesty.
- Transparency in dealing with others.
- Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement.
The main objectives of Business Administration summarized by the following:
- Prepare and rehabilitee a dedicated staff working in the areas of a different administrative system by providing a unique learning environment with the aim of serving the community.
- Support the scientific research of professors and students aligned with the development of the administrative work areas.
- Strengthen the relationship between the department and the society, and work to provide consulting and training.
